Rx for MEDICAL INTERPRETERS  with topics ranging from medication properties to ethnic considerations, this workshop will include presentations, small group break-out sessions, an interpreter panel, and plenty of time to answer your pharmacy questions!


Pharmacist AMBER ALTSTADT: earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in pharmaceutical science and chemistry at NDSU where she also completed her pharmacy doctorate. She is in her second year of Pharmacy Practice Residency at HCMC (PGY-2) in ambulatory care. 

Pharmacist JENNY RIVERA: earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish at Luther College and her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota.  She currently works at HCMC clinics providing Medication Therapy Management services.  Her professional interests include working with underserved populations, patient education and working with patients with diabetes and asthma.  

3 hours of Continuing Education Credits, valid for CHI, AHI and CMI
