DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever interpreted for a Transgender patient and felt out of place because you are not familiar with their treatment? Did you find doctor's terminology totally different than what you are used to?

Dr. Haylee Veazey will make you feel at ease, she will provide history and common terminology frequently encountered when interpreting with transgender patients. She will also talk about all the services provided for transgender patients and what is available in the Twin Cities.

Adult Gender & Sexual Health, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine 

Dr. Veazey’s niche is LGBTQ+ healthcare. She is the Medical Director of the Adult Gender and Sexual Health clinic. She has developed expertise in hormone replacement therapy for transgender patients and has developed a curriculum for training providers to do the same. She specializes in Emergency and Internal Medicine.
