The workshop is a continuation of previous sessions, but you can come to one or to all.
Stephen Sewell's first experience as an ad hoc medical interpreter was at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in 1971 (long before interpreting was regularly available). He has pursued his interest in Spanish language and culture through various community service jobs, as well as being a teacher of Spanish. His wide-ranging interests include cognitive development, cooking, music and the brain, and gardening. He is especially interested in encouraging others to explore learning and self-care opportunities. He recently completed training to be a trainer for The Community Interpreter International course.
