Criminal Process and Terminology for Interpreters

This workshop will touch on the Issues of the criminal process that come up all the time, but are often misunderstood. It will explain stays of adjudication, imposition, and execution; Omnibus, and Morrisey hearings, as well as, who is that mysterious Huber.
Gennady Bronshteyn was born and grew up in Leningrad, former Soviet Union. After graduating from High School Gennady studied at Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in Leningrad, and served in The Soviet Army. Gennady immigrated to The United States in 1989, graduated from University of Minnesota School of Music with Bachelor's Degree in music education, for three years heroically he taught band and orchestra in middle schools. Gennady started working as an interpreter in 1996, he passed the court certification exam in 2001. In 2012 Gennady graduated from William Mitchell College of Law.
He now works as an attorney, as an interpreter and manages GBR Interpreting and Translation Services.
Gennady and his wife Nina also have a brand new 3 month old baby.
